My Lord,

I have the honour to forward for Your

Lordship's approval the details of a scheme by which it is

proposed to re-adjust Kowloon Inland Lots 629, 630, 631 and

1111. The lots in question are outlined in blue on the

accompanying plan, and, at the omers' request, it is propos

-ed that they shall be exchanged for the three areas coloured

red which are of approximately the same size. The terms and

conditions of the exchange, which involves the disposal of

Crown Lend without auction, are as follows:-

BE RIGHT HONOURABLE

(a). The existing leases of Kowloon Inland Lots

629, 630, 631 and 1111 to be surrendered to the Land

Officer when required by him.

(b). The lessee to be granted three new Crow

Leases of the areas marked A, B and C on plan to be

known as Kowloon Inland Lots 631, 629 and 630 respective.

(c). The new Crown Leases to be for the residue of

a term of 75 years, commencing from 25th. December, 1894.

(d). The total Crown rents of the lots to remain

unaltered,

(e). The lessee to pay into the Colonial Treasury,

on demand, the sum of $6,25 for each new boundary stone

required to define the lots, he will also have to pay
